Eligibility – LAWCET
The candidates who have appearedfor LAWCET and secured a pass grade in LAWCET seek the admission to LL.B., 3 years or 5 years Course and 2 year LLM( For LLM PGLCET needs to Cleared).
• A pass grade in LAWCET
• Pass mark is a minimum of 45% (~44.5%).
• SC/ST Candidates have a 5% relaxation in qualifying marks.
• A pass in qualifying examination - degree for 3 Year LLB, Intermediate/+2 for 5 Year Integrated Courses.
• For LLM, a pass in LLB with 50% marks.
• A candidate with 45% or more in BEd or other PG courses is also eligible to seek admission in LLB even if he/she secures less than 45% at degree level.
The candidates who have not cleared the LAWCET or who have not appeared for it can also seek the admission to LL.B., 3 years or 5 years Course and 2 years LLM course directly. 20% of the total seats in each 3 year and 5 year course are reserved under this category.
• For 3 Year LLB, a pass in any undergraduate degree with 50% marks.
• For 5 Year Integrated Courses, a pass in Intermediate/+2 with 50% marks.
• For LLM, a pass in LLB with 50% marks.
Mahatma Gandhi Law College offers LLM course as distance education course. The degree of LLM for distance education students will be conferred by AcharyaNagarjuna University. There are current branches that are offered under LLM distance are :-
