Q) Who are eligible to study law?


A) Any person with any age group can study LLB course and there is no age restriction to study law, subject minimum required academic qualification.


Q) Is there any age restriction to enter legal profession?


A) As of now there is no age restriction to enter legal profession.


Q) Who can study 5 year LLB course?


A) A person with approved 10th class and inter mediate or +2 with the prescribed minimum percentage of marks from time to time.


Q) Who can study 3 year LLB course?


A) A person with approved 10th class, inter mediate or +2 and degree course with the prescribed minimum percentage of marks from time to time.


Q) What is 5 years LLB Course?


A)It is a course of 5 year duration ending with, conferment double degree of LLB with another degree like BA, BBA or B.Com. The college currently offers 5 year LLB course in BA LLB, BBA LLB and B.Com LLB. Refer to courses offered page in academics tab for further details.


Q) What is 3 year LLB Course?


A)It is a course of 3 year duration ending with, conferment of LLB. In general a 3 year LLB course is pursued by someone who has already completed degree.The college currently offers 3 year LLB course as LLB and LLB Honours. Refer to courses offered page in academics tab for further details.


Q) What is immediate Prospect of LLB course?


A) A person with LLB degree can practice as advocate after enrolment, all over India either with senior advocate or without senior advocate.


Q)What are other prospects of LLB?


A) There are a plethora of opportunities for a law graduate. One can either practice as an advocate in a court of law or work with corporate firms. By clearing exams conducted by Public Service Commissions, a law graduate can become a judge. After gaining experience, a law graduate can hope to become Solicitor General, a Public Prosecutor or offer services to government departments and ministries. One can also work as a legal adviser for various organizations. Teaching in colleges, working with NGOs and working as a reporter for newspapers and television channels are other attractive option.


Q) Is the LLB degree valid internationally?


A)Yes, this degree is valid Pan India and also internationally subject to local laws.


Q) What is LLM Course?


A) LLM is the master’s course which can be pursued after successful completion of LLB. LLM is a two years course in which students study a more specific subject in law. The college offers full time 2 year LLM course in Constitutional Law and Corporate Law respectively. LLM is also offered in distance from Acharya Nagarjuna University.


Q) Is LLB offered as part time of as a distance education?


A) LLB so far is nowhere offered as part time or as a distance education course. It is only offered as a full time 5 year and 3 year course respectively.
